Going to yoga classes can be fun and useful for ensuring your poses are correct and for making the most of your practice but for those short on time or money, YouTube yoga videos can fill the gap . YouTube Yoga Videos are free and there are so many to choose from, whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced. But with so may choices it can be difficult to choose between them. The ideal yoga video instructor explains the moves properly, demonstrates them well and has a wide variety of videos available.
Different YouTube yoga instructors offer different things so whether you’re after a quick ten-minute workout to do first thing or a more lengthy routine for weight loss or flexibility I’ve got you covered. In this guide, I’ll introduce you to a few of my favourite Youtube Yoga instructors.
Meet my favourite Youtube Yoga instructors
One of the most popular yoga instructors out there. With over 6 million subscribers, this channel has been in operation since 2012. This channel is especially good for beginners and I can highly recommend her 30 days of yoga for those just starting out. She even has videos for specific health concerns. She explains everything carefully and goes through the moves slowly to help everyone make the most of her videos.
Another favourite of mine. I actually just did one of their workouts. They’ve been going since 2007 and have a wide variety of videos and a variety of instructors. I find them easy to follow and to the point. No long sections of idle chit chat. They have been on YouTube since 2007 and have over 3 million subscribers.
Another YouTube Yoga instructor who has been around for a while. She doesn’t seem to post regularly but after more than 10 years on the channel she has a large back catalogue. I especially love her bedtime Yoga videos, these are great for ensuring you get a restful night’s sleep as we all know that a good night’s sleep is the best preparation for the day ahead.
This girl isn’t your traditional yoga teacher. You won’t hear lots of om’s or talk of asana’s but you can expect a channel that aims to make yoga accessible for everyone. This channel is FUN and Erin’s personality shines through.
The Body Positive Yoga channel is a breath of fresh air. This channel promotes body confidence and body positivity and is targeted at fully figured women, it even features move modifications to make it easier to practice. A much needed addition to the YouTube Yoga community.
